Russell Watson Concert At Sentul Park

The first time in Malaysia having concert at a Park. This have to thanks to YTL organised this in conjuction of 50th Anniversary Concert at Sentul Park.

I'm so lucky that last minute I manage to get myself a ticket to watch the concert! Before the concert start, every body having refreshment at the marquees and this is the first time that I went for a concert have refreshment provided before the concert start and the tickets are free!

After we had our refresment we headed to our seat. Each of the seat have a goodies bag, inside the bag they provide the concert programme book, rain coat, water, fan and etc....

The concert was graced by Yang Di-Pertuan Agong. The concert started about 9.30pm after the YTL MD speech and PM speech.

The concert end about 11.15pm by fireworks! The firework is beautiful. This is the most beautiful fireworks I ever see in my life. The fireworks go together with the Orchestra music! This is the first time i saw the firework so near to myself and I was so busy to catching all the fireworks moments. Those fireworks got heart shape, stars and etc... The fireworks last about 10 to 15 minutes!!!

I really enjoyed myself at the concert!!!!!

YTL Fiftieth Anniversary Concert

This evening I went to KLPAC (Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre) for Orchestra concert that organised by YTL.

YTL invited The Melbourne Grammar School Orchestra to play at KLPAC for one of the 4 days prelude. The prelude started on 13/12/2005 and there are comedy, choir, concert and opera. This have to thanks my friend Reena pass me the tickets.

Basically the main highlight is Russell Watson In Concert on 17/12/2005 at Sentul Park. They are more than 10,000 people balloting for the Russell Watson tickets and I'm one of it!! So I thought since didn't manage to ballot the Russel Watson ticktes must well go for others.

I'm so lucky that before the concert start I gave a call to my coursin and he told me that his parents can't make it for the concert and if I'm interested to go for the Russell Watson In Concert go and speak to his parents. I quickly give a call to my aunt and she said there are 2 tickets extra and I get the tickets to Russell Watson!!! Hooray!!!

Can't wait saturday to come now!!!!!!!

I think this is a very good experience!!!

Snow.Wolf.Lake

Last Saturday I went for a Musical Snow.Wolf.Lake.
Finally I watched it that I have been waiting for 8 years since it started in Hong Kong.

This is the final round that Jacky Cheung as the main cast and after this production he only be the Producer.

The Stage and the backdrop design is impressive!! They really did a great job in the whole musical! I'm so surprise that they even bring the whole orchestra team on the stage.

During the show, I thought they were playing recorded music! Who knows at the end Jacky Cheung introduce the orchestra team that hide behind the backdrops.

The only thing is the PA system is little bit out. Some time cannot hear the conversation properly. For me I still prefer the cantonese version compare to the mandarin version.

Overall this is a great musical you can't miss it if you are Jacky Cheung fan!

Farewell Lunch with Ming Yi and Rick

Last Sunday had farewell lunch with Ming Yi and her ex-colleague!

Time flies, Ming Yi and Rick leaving M'sia on coming Saturday to Melbourne! I still remember the time we spent together during the College time and it was 6 years ago and now she leaving to Melbourne to start her new life there! Going to miss her!!

This morning I'm abit late so when I reached the Jalan Kewajipan Junction turning I cut Q and who knows this morning there are police there waiting to saman...

My First Open Public Speaking Seminar!

Today is my first open public speaking...I still can remember my last open public speaking was 4 years ago and that was presentation for one of the subject I took in my final year! Last night i'm so nervous and i couldn't sleep well!! I slept around 11 something and i was woke up about 5am morning...in my dream also all about the seminar presentation!!!!Gosh~

At the begining of the presentation is abit nervous but after a while then Ok already...who knows when I'm used to it already...the stupid projector overheat and auto off for 5 minutes! Luckily I experienced with it before so that I can calmly tell the audiance that the projector overheated...and i'm starting to refresh their memory that what I've covered previously...

Once the projector back and I just continued my presentation till the end! I gave myself about 75 out of 100!
If I got another chance, I think I can do better!!!

After 2 years......

Hmm.....after 2 years i sprained my ankle again!!

This round I sprained during my badminton session with my colleagues......I was trying to save the shuttle.......=(

So I went to see doctors.....Why the doctor with "S"??
Cause I went to see the normal doctor and chinese sensei......
normal doctor is to obtain MC...ahhahaha...

last time i usually visit this chinese sensei at seapark...but this chinese sensei always long que 1!!
so decided to change....my brother recommend this chinese sensei in Puchong...
this chinese doctor not only massage the ankle he also TWIST my injured ankle!!!!
When he tried to twist my ankle, keep asking me to relax!!
How u going to relax if some one going to twist your injured ankle??!!
At the end he gave me some "assam" to eat to distract my attention when he tried to twist my ankle.......
=P

Hmm...no more shopping and badminton for me at least 3 weeks...Doctors advise me try not to walk too much....rest more!!

Merdeka Eve Celebration

Merdeka eve I went out with a few friends.....

We went to Sunway Pyramid for dinner and we planned to watched fireworks on that nite...after dinner we walk about and decided to go to Halo Cafe in Sunway Pyramid....I heard my friend said this Halo Cafe used to be in SS 15 Subang Jaya and shifted to Sunway Pyramid.......

Usually Halo Cafe do not have cover charged and that night they have cover charge for each person is RM 25.00 and there was a special price for 4 pax for RM 85.00 and came with a bucket of tiger beer...each bucket is 5 bottles. They are four of us so we took the special price package...

They were given out some lucky draw presents....before they start the lucky draw they asked who wants present?? I raised up my hand....and they just gave me a RM 50 Halo cafe voucher...

I used the voucher to buy additional drinks...When I place my order, I told the waitress I'm using the voucher to pay for it. Then later another waitress came to me and said cannot use the voucher on that night because that night is a promotional item?! I told her merdeka eve is an event not an item!!! In the voucher says that "Not valid on Promotional Item" so the drink that we ordered is an item and I'm ordered it from the ala carte menu so is not a promotional item!!! At the end, we used the voucher for the additional drinks.

We were there till almost 12a.m. then we left the place for fireworks....saw alot of cars stop at the road to wait for the fireworks....the fireworks took about 5 to 10 minutes....it is amazing....it reminds me of Moomba Festival in Melbourna Yarra River fireworks...

By the time I reached home is almost 2a.m.

Kuala Lumpur Conventional Centre (KLCC) Parking Rip Off

I was sent to KLCC for the SMIDEX exhibition for 2 days. For the 1st day I parked my car in the KLCC car park. Due to we need to do set up for the booth, I arrived there before 9 a.m. at the end of the day my parking fee for the day is RM 30.50.

There is no maximum rate!! They charged the 1st hour is RM 3.50 and the subsequent half an hour is RM 1.50. I checked with the staff in the KLCC, they told us there is not flat fee for the exhibitor!!!!!!

Next time if there is exhibition at KLCC, don't ask me to go there anymore!!!!!Going to boycott KLCC!!!!

Lego

Hmmm....
I think last saturday was my longest time to fix a lego since ever I born...

The Curve they having this lego fixing for the longest caterpilar in Malaysia. They need people help to accompolish the mission...and I was one of it....I didn't know it took so much time...
I sat there for 2 hours to fix that lego.....

Movie

Hmmm.....its been a while watching movie in cinema....let me think.....what was my last movie....
a ha.... my last movie was Star Wars...

Been few times asking friends to watch movie together...at the end also tak jadi...finally this round not going to give up to....
So happen last week haze attack KL...and my family try to escape from the haze and went back home town during weekend....except me...why i din go back....cause...i've got six sence that Ipoh will attach by haze...and i rather stay in KL....ahahahaha......=P

So last weekend i watched Charlie and the chocolate factory with fren...
although alot of people told me that no need to go to cinema watch this kind of movie cause this kind of movie do not require very good sound system and big screen.....
In that movie....can't really recognise Johnny Depp....=P
Hmm...overall the movie is not bad....this is more for kids.....
i quite like it....ahahaha...i admit that i'm still kid...ahahaha....=)

Stupid Police!!!!

For the past 2 days...it took me more than an hour to reach office!!!!
Usually it will take about 30 to 40 minutes to reach office...

One thing I know is at the Subang Jaya Exit at Kesas Highway is damn bad now!!! The queue to the ramp is almost reach the exit of the Elite highway!!!!Don't know why the police stop the car that free turning to the left!!! That's cause the traffic so badly!!!! Each time there is about 30 cars manage turn left and get into Jalan Kewajipan!!! Not only that and the stupid police close the U-turn at the Jalan Kewajipan as well..so divert all the traffic to the roundabout...and cause the long queue...

Their job suppose to reduce the traffic...in fact now they create the bad traffic jam!!!!!

Italianies

Hmm...it has been a while that didn't go out dinner with friends...so decided to go Italianies-1U cause all of us never been there.

I wanted to make reservation for the dinner but the reservation is full so have to try walk in. Luckily I reached there early and that time not so many people dining yet so we manage to get a table.

Once we sat down, the waiter trying so hard to sell the restaurant drink of the day!!! Too bad I can't take alcohol, if not I'll try that! From the way he describe, the drink sounds refreshing.

Before I go there, I've been warned by my friends and said that the serving is big not need to order a lot. My friend recommend me the stuffed mushroom so we ordered the stuffed mushroom as a starter. Due to serving is big so that we decided to share the food and that's gave us problem to order. One of the friend just took the lamb a day b4, one of them cannot take chicken and myself cannot take seafood! So ended up we having beef feast. We ordered Grill Steak and spaghetti with Meatballs....

One thing disappointed us is the restaurant not serving Gelato. All of us thought of having Gelato as dessert, we ended up with Tiramisu.

Overall the food there is not bad. I had a great time with my friends!

Product Demo

Yesterday afternoon I went to potential client's place for product demo. That's the longest product demo that I've even been.

We reached the potential place at 2 something and the product demo started at 3pm...and the product demo finished 8.35pm!!!!!!!!!!!

Some more the meeting room is damn cold and the aircon is blow towards to us plus hungry...3 of us are shivering and starveling there while the other colleague explaining the system features!!

Although the demo is long and cold but I manage to get through it and the potential quite happy with it!!!

Chicken Pox!

Why in this world have chicken pox?

Currently I'm having chicken pox! Although doctor grant me 10 days MC I got friends said u can rest and do whatever thins that I want to do at home like watching Anime!! Actually I rather I don't have chicken pox at all.

WHY?? Reasons are I can't sleep soundly and I can't eat at all.

I can't sleep it due to the chicken pox on my head when I sleep it hurts and itchy and I cannot scatch!!! Every body tell me that scratch will leave scar behind.....arrgghhhhhh...........

I can't eat due to there is a chicken pox in my throat...That's the worst part. Drink water also painful. My doctor gave me a heavy medication. I need to take the antibiotic every 3 hours and each time need to 2 tablets....One day I need to 5 TIMES!!! My GOD!!! The worst thing is until now I still have problem with tablets!! I got problem to swallow it!!!!!!!!

I wish this will go ASAP!!

Starlight Cinema is back!

Startlight Cinema is back!!! They going start showing from 22th of June until 16th of July 2005. This year must go again!! Planning to watch Constantine there. I think with that kind of enviroment must be exciting! Any one interested to join me??

I had a great experience in starlight cinema last year. I went there with my ex-colleagues from MYOB. Although only 4 of us but we were having great time there. We watched Peter Pan and Taking Lives. Last year Citibank Clear Card holder free entry but this year Citibank Clear Bank holder entitle 20% discount...I wish they going free again for Citibank Clear Card holder!

Bangkok

At first we planned the holiday to Taiwan due to the airticket and accommodation is too expensive we changed our mind to Bangkok. Why Bangkok?? Thanks to my two brothers they highly recommend it!! Reason :

1. CHEAP
2. CHEAP
3. CHEAP

I booked the airticket from Airasia, thanks to Airasia and Now Everybody Can Fly!!The return airtickets for Bangkok for 4 pax is less than RM1000.00 including airport tax!

accommodation? Where we stay? We stay at Lake Point Service Apartment at Sumkhuvit. This service apartment is run by Ascort Group. The price is about RM 100.00 per pax per nite(we took the most expensive apartment which is bigger size) including breakfast but their breakfast is funny only provide 3 pax per day although the apartment is for 4 person?! Talk about breakfast, their breakfast is fantastic. Every day serve different kind of food. I love their Deep Fried Fish Cake and eat with Thai Chili Sauce is so nice!!

On the early Sunday morning while everybody still dreaming we already arrive the KLIA waiting to take our first flight from Airasia to Bangkok. The flight took about 2 hours and 15 minutes. U know Airasia there is no in flight entertainment! That's where my new smartphone play a role...i play bejeweled..once i tired i change it MP3 and listen to MP3.

We arrive in Bangkok is about 10am their time(which is 11am Malaysia time). We quickly get our luggage and took a cab to check in to the service apartment. Cab in Bangkok is so cheap!!! It only cost us RM 25 including tips for the driver from Airport to the service apartment. The journey is about 20 minutes. Compare to Malaysia, from KLIA to my home is about 30 minutes and it cost me RM70!!!

We had a tight schedule on Sunday. We need to go to Chatuchat market which is only open during weekends!! Once we checked in we quickly take another cab to Chatuchat market. It was a hot Sunday and when we reached there already 11am and the Sun on top of us. We quickly go and find a food store to eat. First time in Asia country i have language problem. I do not know how to speak Thai at all except "Sa wa Ti Kah". We saw a store full of people sitting down eating noodle, my sister and I quickly go and get a place to sit and ordered the food. We had drumstick noodle and it only cost 3o.00baht per bowl which is RM 3.00.

After the meal, we started our shopping sphere. Chatuchat market is huge, there are about 8 thousand plus of store in there. One day definitely is not enough if you want to go through the whole Chatuchat! Unfortunately we only have half a day!! There where all your souvenirs coming from! Haha... Things there are so cheap until sometimes u are lazy to bargain with them. Because U know definitely is much more cheaper in KL!! I bought a handmade handbag only cost me 45baht (RM4.50) !! I bought t-shirts, souvenir for all my fellow colleagues and frens until my hands is full of bags and my sister need to help me to carry some in her backpack!! We walk until we are so tired and we manage to find a restaurant in Chatuchat! We sat down, first thing to order is beer. With that kind of hot weather, 1 glass of beer is so cooling. Besides that, we ordered Thai Curry Duck Noodle which is I find it so so (cause I don't really like curry), Grilled Pork Neck with spicy salad, Catfish spicy salads. These 2 are fabulous!! I love it so much!! After that we are continue the shopping freak again. By the time we left is about 6pm and we go back with full of bags!!!=)

The next morning, we went to Siam Square Novotel Hotel. According to my brother, tailor made suit is cheap in Bangkok! We went back to the tailor that my brother made his. That fellow in the tailor shop was so rude so we just walk out from the shop and walk to another shop. One tailor made suit is only RM300.00! And we can get our suit in 24 hours! After we choose the material, the owner of the shop took our measurements and tell us to come back in the evening to try to suit!! I can feel that I'm so exclusive there is just like the movie "My Best Friend's Wedding" Julie Roberts best friend trying his tux!!!

We went to the Grand Palace( the one and only tourist place we went =P) We spent half a day in the palace...We saw the Jade Buddha and Golden Buddha.....

Overall most of the time we spent on shopping and eating. In Bangkok, we eat every 2 hours...After the trip I put on another 2kg...=( I go with 1 bag and came back with 2 bags full!!!

Bangkok, I'll come back again!!
